The Certificate of Registration of EU Citizens is an essential procedure that facilitates residence in Spain for European citizens and their families, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and granting access to a range of rights and services in the country.

To obtain the right to reside in Spain for more than three months, interested parties must meet certain conditions. This includes being a self-employed or employed worker in Spain, having sufficient resources to not rely on Spanish social assistance during their stay, or being a enrolled student in a recognized institution.

The application for registration in the Central Foreigners Register must be made at the Foreigners Office of the province where the interested party intends to establish their residence or, if necessary, at the corresponding Police Station.
